| Duties | Advise the BOS on property/landmark preservation and designation; maintain list of County historic places; advise the BOS on properties that might be added to the local, state and national registers of historic places; coordinate with other community agencies and organizations to carry out the goal of historic preservation; advise the BOS on the preservation of governmental records, including the retention and storage of these records; advise the County Library in their work for the preservation of all local historic records in the County; and coordinate with other agencies/organizations to foster and promote the preservation of all appropriate historic records. |
